- TaxCare uses only its own cookies and device storage, and only to make the app work.
- No advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking. No third party sets a cookie through TaxCare.
- Because nothing here is for tracking, we do not show a cookie banner.
- Signing out clears your tax data from the device.

All are first-party. The sign-in, device, security and referral cookies cannot be read by page scripts (httpOnly), and the sign-in cookies are sent only over secure connections.

04Payment pages
When you pay, you go to our payment partner's page (Cashfree), or for tax, the Income Tax Department's payment page. Those pages may set their own cookies under their own policies.
05Shared devices
On a shared or public device, always sign out. That clears your tax data from the browser. Remove the device from Profile → Security if you forgot.
06Your choices
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser at any time. You will then need to sign in again with an OTP.
07Changes
If we ever add a cookie or storage that is not needed to run TaxCare, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent before it is used.
